Valneva: Q1 net loss down slightly

(CercleFinance.com) - Valneva has reported a net loss of 26 million euros for Q1 2022, against a loss of 27.
7 million euros a year ago, with a negative EBITDA of 12.7 million euros, compared with a negative EBITDA of 28.3 million euros in Q1 2021.

Total revenues fell 6% to 21.8 million euros, with product sales pretty flat at 16.2 million euros. However, excluding sales of its Covid-19 vaccine, product sales were down 23.3% (-27.2% at constant exchange rates).

The vaccine company confirms its forecast of total FY 2022 sales of 430 to 590 million euros, although it warns that its breakdown by revenue category may differ from the figures announced in February.
