Orpea: continues financial restructuring

(CercleFinance.com) - The rest home group announces that its financial restructuring is continuing according to schedule.


It welcomes the convergence of its main banking partners on the principles of the agreement relating to the implementation of a complementary financing and the adjustment of the June 2022 financing documentation.

These banking partners will participate in the implementation of this additional financing and the adjustment of the June 2022 financing documentation only in the context of the implementation of a plan proposed by the Company, as provided for by law, and intended in particular to ensure that the group of long-term French investors led by the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, including CNP Assurances, MAIF and MACSF, holds 50.2% of the Company's capital, Orpea said.

The implementation and drawdown of the additional financing, in several tranches, partly in the form of a bridge loan, will enable the Company's cash flow requirements to be met until the group led by Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations acquires a majority stake in the Company, remain subject to the approval of the credit committees of the institutions concerned, the finalisation of the required contractual documentation, and certain stages of the Company's financial restructuring.
