Infineon: Oddo raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Oddo BHF reinstates its "outperform" rating on Infineon shares, having increased its target price for them from 30 euros to 40 euros, after the group published its Q4 2022 results and provided a 2023 outlook that is clearly above expectations.


The release has led the broker to raise its EPS estimates by 14% for FY 2023 and 2024, with the German semiconductor manufacturer announcing new growth and margin assumptions over the cycle.

Oddo said its new expectations are "conservative" and that visibility remains "excellent", noting that the stock is still down 22% year-to-date, despite its 7% jump yesterday.
