Orange: signs E6bn syndicated credit facility

(CercleFinance.com) - Today Orange announced that it has signed a six billion euro multi-currency revolving credit facility with 27 banks, indexed on environmental and social indicators, to refinance its syndicated loan maturing in December 2023, ahead of schedule.


The new facility, which has an initial maturity of November 2027, includes two options to extend it by one year each, which are exercisable by the telecom operator and subject to bank approval.

The refinancing has attractive terms, with an initial margin of 25 basis points per annum. The maximum adjustment related to sustainable performance targets will lead to a discount or premium of 2.25 basis points.
