Orange: maintains targets for 2021

(CercleFinance.com) - Orange's Q1 2021 revenues increased 0.
5% to 10,315 million euros. The group said that it benefited from the recovery in equipment sales and the excellent performance of fixed broadband and IT and integration services.

Growth was mainly driven by Africa and the Middle East, which posted their best performance for a first quarter for 10 years (+7.1%) and by Other European countries (+2.2%).

Group EBITDAaL amounted to 2.56 billion euros over the period, down a fraction (-0.3%). Its eCAPEX amounted to 1.8 billion euros at 31 March, up 194 million euros.

The telecom group maintains its financial targets for 2021, as announced on 18 February 2021. It targets a stable negative EBITDAaL, eCAPEX of 7.6 to 7.7 billion euros, an organic cash flow from telecom activities that exceeds 2.2 billion euros, net debt/EBITDAaL ratio for telecoms activities that is maintained around 2x over the medium term.
