Orange: keeps CEO

(CercleFinance.com) - At close to 14 euros, the Orange share remains close to stagnant (-0.
1%) this morning at the Paris stock exchange, where the CAC 40 cedes 0.7%. This follows the general acquittal of the defendants in the ruling just issued by the Paris Criminal Court in the “Tapie Affair”, which relates to the Crédit Lyonnais-Adidas case.

Stéphane Richard's job was on the line, the current head of Orange being under threat of a jail sentence. Richard was accused in the capacity of chief of staff to Christine Lagarde, who was the French Finance Minister at the time. He has also been acquitted.
