Renault: three partnerships for decarbonisation

(CercleFinance.com) - As part of its Renaulution strategy, Renault Group has announced an acceleration of its plan to decarbonise its industrial sites with three strategic and unprecedented partnerships to achieve its energy transition targets.


This new step is materialised with the renewable energy producer Voltalia by the largest contract for the supply of green electricity in France, to the car manufacturer's French plants.

Renault is also working with Engie on the first deep geothermal energy project at a European industrial site in Douai, and is partnering with Dalkia, a subsidiary of the EDF group, to install a biomass boiler in Maubeuge.

In early trading today, Renault shares are up 1.2%, Engie +0.5% and Voltalia +0.6% on this news.
