Renault: signs partnership with Coscharis in Nigeria

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault and Coscharis announce the start of a major cooperation in automobile production and distribution in Nigeria.


The Logan and Duster will be assembled in an existing Coscharis factory in Lagos from October 2019. The Kwid and Oroch models will be imported from Brazil. These four models will be distributed throughout Nigeria using Coscharis Motors' commercial network.

Groupe Renault is leader on the African continent with a market share of 18%. In 2018, the Group sold more than 216,000 vehicles in Africa. The main countries in terms of sales volumes are currently Morocco, Algeria, South Africa and Egypt.
