Renault: well represented on Nissan's board

(CercleFinance.com) - This morning Nissan announced the proposed composition of its board of directors and associated committees to be presented for approval on 25 June.

Renault, with which relations have been strained following the departure of Carlos Ghosn, should be well represented on the board.

Amongst key positions, note that Renault's chairman, Jean-Dominique Senard, could therefore become vice-chairman of Nissan's board of directors; Nissan's chairman would be Yasushi Kimura.

Still on the "French" side, with Renault holding 43.4% of the Japanese carmaker's capital, note that Mr Senard would also sit on the remunerations committee.

Finally, Thierry Bolloré, Renault's CEO, would have a place on the Audit Committee.
