Renault: develops a network of charging terminals

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault has announced a partnership with E-Totem and Demeter to deploy the first network of public charging stations on demand in France.


The Group will participate in the financing of the charging stations and will propose special offers to the first 50 Renault customers.

Amongst the pre-defined sites (Saint-Etienne, Firminy, Saint-Jean-Bonnefonds, Chambon Feugerolles, Saint-Chamond, Rive de Gier, Saint-Priest en Jarez and Andrézieux-Bouthéon), individuals and professionals may make charging station requests.

For drivers of electric vehicles that do not have a private parking space, the implementation of the public charging infrastructure is essential. These terminals must be found close to users, whether near their home or their workplace, to simplify the charging experience, Gilles Normand, director of Renault Group's Electric Vehicles said.
