Renault: creates joint-venture in Iran.

At midday today, Groupe Renault, IDRO - an investment fund for renovation and industry in Iran - and Parto Negin Naseh Co., which imports Renault's cars, have announced the creation of a new joint venture company in Iran.

This announcement follows a strategic agreement that was signed at the Mondial de l'Automobile car show in Paris on 30 September last year.

The birth of this structure, of which Renault will be the main shareholder, is motivated by Iran's return onto the international trade scene, coupled with Renault's strong presence in the country. Indeed, its sales here have even doubled over the past year, reaching 68,365 vehicles in H1 2017.
