BNP Paribas: 3.1% increase in Q2 net income

(CercleFinance.com) - BNP Paribas has published Q2 2019 net income, group share that is up 3.
1% at 2,468 million euros, with gross operating income that is down 1.3% at 3,789 million euros (+3.9% for operational divisions).

At 11,224 million euros, Net banking income increased by 0.2% in all and rose by 2.5% at its operational divisions, with a slight fall in Domestic Markets (-0.3%), but an increase in International Financial Services (+3.4%) and CIB (+4%).

At 30 June 2019, the "common equity Tier 1" ratio was 11.9%, up 20 basis points compared to 31 March 2019, due to the organic capital generation over the quarter and the positive impact from the deconsolidation of SBI Life.
