BNP Paribas: BlackRock increases stake

(CercleFinance.com) - BlackRock, acting on behalf of its clients and funds under its management, has informed the AMF that on 22 May 2019 it raised its stake in BNP Paribas' capital above the thresholds of 5% of the French bank's capital and voting rights and that, on behalf of the said clients and funds, it now holds 64,362,477 shares and voting rights, i.
e. 5.15% of the group's capital and voting rights.

The crossing of this threshold results from the pûrchase of BNP Paribas shares both on the market and OTC, in addition to the receipt of shares held as collateral.
