Société Générale: Oudéa to step down as CEO in May 2023

(CercleFinance.com) - Mr Frédéric Oudéa, Chief Executive Officer since 2008, has announced that he will not seek renewal of his mandate as Director and Chief Executive Officer in May 2023 at the General Meeting of 17 May 2022.


Lorenzo Bini Smaghi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said that a selection process for the Chief Executive Officer was decided by the Board of Directors on the proposal of the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee by 2023.

The Board of Directors took note of this decision and renewed its confidence in Frédéric Oudéa to lead the Group until that date.
