Société Générale: no particularity in Generali transactions

(CercleFinance.com) - Société Générale said on Friday morning that the crossing of thresholds (first above and then below 5%) of Generali's capital voting rights, on 7 and 11 March, are in no way related to the bank taking a strategic position the share.


These movements result from everyday transactions relating to the hedging of transactions carried out in the context of its market activities. (...) Société Générale has notified the regulators about these movements, pursuant to its regulatory obligations, the group explains.
