Société Générale: opens a representative office in Kenya.

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday, Société Générale announced the opening of a representative office in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, after approval from the Central Bank of Kenya.


The Bank also announces the appointment of George Mutua as Chief Representative Officer in Kenya. Based in Nairobi, George Mutua will be in charge of further developing Societe Generale's franchise in Kenya and in Eastern Africa, a fast-growing region. He will have support from Société Générale's teams in Paris and London.

Present on the continent for over 100 years, the Group now features amongst the three international banks with the greatest presence in Africa, where it now operates in 19 different countries.
