Eiffage: signs wind power contract with EnBW
(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage, through Smulders (a Belgian subsidiary of Eiffage Métal), has won a contract with the Dutch company Sif, awarded by German energy company EnBW, to manufacture 64 transition pieces for the future EnBW He Dreiht offshore wind farm.
Each transition piece will be 30 metres high and have a diameter of approximately 8.5 metres. Their unit weight will be just over 700 tonnes including the secondary steel structures.
Located in the German North Sea, the EnBW He Dreiht offshore wind farm will have a total capacity of 900 MW and is expected to be commissioned in the second half of 2025.
