Eiffage: signs contract to rebuild Caen hospital

(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage has announced that Eiffage Construction has just been awarded the contract to rebuild the Caen University Hospital (CHF), a new hospital facility that represents phase 1 of the reconstruction of the CHU and covers the construction of the Logistics, Administration, Pharmacy and Biology buildings.


The project for the new Caen CHU will be completed in two distinct phases:
- the early phase - signed by Eiffage teams - which includes the Biology building, on the one hand, and the Logistics, Pharmacy & Administration building, on the other; - the main phase, which will concern the hospital centre: the consultation/day centre buildings, the medical and technical units and accommodation, along with the public reception facilities.

The works, costing 28.6 million euros (excluding VAT), will start next April and will take two years to complete.
