Lagardère: takes stock of ruling on AG's claim

(CercleFinance.com) - Lagardere SCA takes stock of the decision, issued by the Presiding Judge of the Commercial Court in Paris yesterday, rejecting Amber Capital and Vivendi's claims to call an extraordinary general meeting.


Lagardere says that the Commercial Court has, in particular, underlined in its decision firstly that the renewal of Arnaud Lagardere's mandate in August was perfectly legal and opportune, and secondly that there are no facts to support allegations from Amber Capital and Vivendi as to a lack of independence or critical spirit of the members of the Supervisory Board to accomplish their task.
