Lagardère: group OP up 2.1% at E401m

(CercleFinance.com) - Group revenue came in at 7,258 million euros, up 3.
3% like-for-like. This rise was driven by the strong performance of Lagardère Travel Retail, which posted growth of 8.8%.

Lagardère's operating profit came in at 401 million euros, up 2 million euros compared to the 2017 IFRS 15 restated figure (i.e. +399 million euros).

Total net income amounted to 216 million euros, with net attributable income of 194 million euros. Adjusted net income - Group share (which excludes non-recurrent/non-operating items) amounted to 222 million euros, compared to 214 million euros in 2017. In 2018, free cash flow amounted to 471 million euros (compared to 283 million euros in 2017). This includes 183 million euros in proceeds from the sale of the Lagardère Active buildings at rue François 1er, Paris.

For 2019, the Lagardère group anticipates an increase in the operating profit from the Group's business scope of between +4% and +6% at constant exchange rates and excluding the acquisition of HBF.
