Vivendi: now holds 57.35% of Lagardère's capital

(CercleFinance.com) - At the close of the reopened offer for Lagardère group shares, which ran from 27 May to 9 June 2022, Vivendi held 80,943,768 Lagardère shares, representing the same number of voting rights, i.
e. 57.35% of Lagardère's capital and 47.33% of its theoretical voting rights.

This final result, which concludes the friendly takeover bid filed on 21 February, only gives Vivendi 22.45% of the group's voting rights pending approval of the takeover of Lagardère by the competition authorities.

In addition, 20,245,979 shares were tendered to the subsidiary part of the takeover bid on the reopened bid, i.e. a total of 31,184,281 shares for the entire bid. These shares will receive the same number of transfer rights exercisable at a price of 24.10 euros until 15 December 2023.
