Vivendi: offer to purchase 100% of Prisma Media

(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi announces that it has signed a promise to purchase 100% of Prisma Media.
This signature came following a period of exclusive negotiations with Gruner+Jahr/Bertelsmann and the favourable opinion of Vivendi's employee representative bodies.

Prisma Media owns twenty French press magazine brands, from women's magazine Femme Actuelle to business and financial magazine Capital, and Gala or Télé-Loisirs, people and TV magazines respectively, allowing it to reach an audience of more than 42 million French readers every month.

Prisma is currently a subsidiary of Gruner + Jahr, which is owned by German conglomerate Bertelsman.
