Casino: conciliation procedure opens

(CercleFinance.com) - Casino announces that it has received the agreement from its bank and bond creditors to request the appointment of conciliators, without this step being considered as a default or an event of default.


In this context, on 25 May the President of the Paris Commercial Court decided to open a conciliation procedure for the benefit of the company and certain subsidiaries, for an initial period of four months, which may be extended by one month.

This procedure, which only concerns the financial debt of Casino and some of its subsidiaries, is intended to enable the food retailer to enter into discussions with its financial creditors within a legally secure framework.
