Casino: sells part of stake in Assaí

(CercleFinance.com) - Casino today announced that it has launched the sale of part of its stake in Assaí for 174 million shares (including ADSs) representing 12.
9% of Assaí's capital, in order to step up its debt reduction.

This sale may be increased by a maximum of 80 million shares (including ADSs) representing 5.9% of Assaí's capital.

The sale, which has been approved by Casino's Board of Directors, will take the form of a secondary offering, with allocation scheduled for 16 March 2023, with a settlement on 21 March 2023, depending on market conditions.
