Casino: signs 5-year partnership with Intermarché

(CercleFinance.com) - French food retailers Intermarché and the Casino have announced signing a five-year partnership aimed at enhancing their complementarities in three areas: purchasing, digital services (marketing and advertising), and agribusiness.


Regarding the first area, the partners plan to create a joint procurement center, covering both food and non-food as well as international.

In addition, Casino and Intermarché have announced the creation of a joint venture responsible for marketing a Retail Media offer in France, aiming to jointly respond to the predominance of global players operating in France.

Finally, a collaboration agreement between the companies will enable Agromousquetaires, the agro-industrial division of the Groupement Les Mousquetaires to participate in Casino group's calls for tenders to select suppliers for its various private labels and ensure a supply of French origin.
