Casino: Q3 organic sales growth reaches 6.2%

(CercleFinance.com) - French food retailer Casino has published Q3 sales of 7.
4 billion euros, representing organic growth of 6.2%, compared to Q3 2019.

Group EBITDA reached 599 million euros, rising by 12 million despite an unfavourable FX effect. In France, sales declined by 2.6% in organic terms.

It posted growth in EBITDA over the quarter (+46 million euros), which reached 357 million euros.

Casino said, "Over the quarter, the increase in EBITDA and the impact of fuel sales recovery on working capital contributed to an improvement in cash generation of +E130m versus the same prior-year period".
