Casino: confirms talks with Aldi France

(CercleFinance.com) - Casino Group has confirmed that it has entered into discussions with Aldi France regarding the acquisition of Leader Price in mainland France.


Following the interest expressed, Casino and Aldi France have entered into discussions with a view to have Aldi France submit a binding offer.

"The Casino Group intends to conduct these discussions in the best interest of Leader Price and its employees, as well as its partners," Casino said.

"Leader Price's employee representative bodies will be informed and consulted as soon as a sufficiently advanced project can be presented to them, in accordance with the
relevant legal obligations."
