Casino: in talks to acquire Sarenza

(CercleFinance.com) - Monoprix, a subsidiary of Casino, has announced that it has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire Sarenza, aiming to round out its offer in the lifestyle and is part of its digitalisation strategy.


A leader in online shoe sales, Sarenza has an offer exceeding 650 brands, with almost 40,000 different types of shoes. The company made sales (before returns) of over 250 million euros in its last fiscal year.

The deal, which is expected to be finalised in the next few weeks, is, of course, subject to consulting Monoprix and Sarenza's staff representative bodies, and also requires approval from the Competition regulatory authority.
