Vinci: wins 5-year E118m rail contract on France

(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday evening Vinci announced that it has been awarded a five-year, 118 million euro contract to renew 675 km of rails on the French rail network.


The contract is due to start in January 2024 and will involve the replacement of around 135 km of rail each year using a 550-metre-long mobile factory train to replace rails and fasteners and a new 432-metre rail transport train to transport new rails and load old rails.

This contract is part of the State-SNCF Réseau performance plan signed on 6 April 2022, Vinci says.
