Vinci: forecasts less motorway traffic

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci warns that the new restrictions imposed by European governments in response to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic will affect some of the group's activities at the end of 2020 - particularly motorway traffic in France.


"This impact cannot be reliably quantified because of the many uncertainties regarding the evolution of the health and economic situation, particularly the duration of the reconfinement in France," says the construction and concessions group.

Vinci has therefore reduced its FY 2020 forecast for motorway traffic, now expecting it to fall by between 20% and 25%, instead of a 15%-20% fall previously. However, it is maintaining its other forecasts included in its outlook presented on 20 October.
