Vinci: -79% airport passenger traffic in Q3

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Airports indicates that its passenger traffic in the third quarter of 2020 shows a plunge of 79.
1% year-on-year, with a total of 15 million passengers welcomed in the 45 airports in its network.

Year-to-date, it shows a decline of 67.9% compared to the same period in 2019, with a slight upturn in the third quarter (after -96% in the second quarter), thanks to tourism and family holidays in the summer season.

Vinci Airports does however specify that the progressive recovery in passenger traffic over the summer halted in September with the new restrictive measures put in place in light of the second wave of the pandemic.
