Vinci: contract in Uganda
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday evening, Vinci announced that ETF (a subsidiary of Eurovia), in a consortium with Sogea-Satom (a subsidiary of Vinci Construction International Network), has signed a contract for to restore a disused railway line between the cities of Tororo and Gulu, in Uganda, representing a total distance of 375 km.
"The route will connect the country's northern regions around Gulu to the main Kampala-Mombasa (Kenya) line, in a project that aims to develop railway freight transport and therefore boost socio-economic growth in the north of the country," Vinci said.
The work on this project is set to last for 36 months.
