Vinci: contract for wastewater treatment in Canada

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Construction announces that it has won a contract to build new pipelines via its subsidiary Bessac in partnership with the Canadian company Pomerleau on behalf of the Annacis Island wasterwater treatment plant near Vancouver.


The contract, which is worth 184 million Canadian dollars (approximately 126 million euros), includes the construction of two 40-metre deep access shafts and two segment-lined tunnels with lengths of 580 metres and 200 metres.

The project, set for handover in late 2023, is part of the expansion program for the Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant, which represents a treatment capacity equivalent to the consumption of one million people.
