Vinci: to deploy fiber in 26 departments by 2022

(CercleFinance.com) - Late on Wednesday Vinci Énergies announced that by 2022 it is preparing to deploy fiber optics to the home of 600,000 households located in rural areas of 26 French departments.


In 2017, Vinci won a series of new contracts under the France High Speed Broadband Plan which covers nine French departments, in addition to those previously won for 17 other departments.

The projects, ranging from network design to deployment, will be led by Axians, Vinci Energies' brand which is dedicated to information and communication technologies.
