Ingenico: adds onboard payment equipment to Autonom Cabs

(CercleFinance.com) - Ingenico Group has teamed up with NAVYA, the pioneer and specialist in autonomous vehicles, to integrate a connected display inside Autonom Cabs.


The first robot taxis on the market, which were inaugurated in November 2017 in Paris, can offer embedded services, where payments can be made on screens.

NAVYA chose to equip its autonomous taxis with Ingenico 15-inch screens with NFC readers, in order to offer different services, such as carpooling, geo-located content, click and collect content or even coupons.
