Capgemini: share up as Jefferies says buy

(CercleFinance.com) - Capgemini's share price is one of the biggest winners in Paris on Tuesday, boosted by US broker Jefferies initiating its coverage of the stock with a buy rating in a rebound amongst technology stocks.


At around 2.10pm, the IT and digital services consultancy's shares were up 3.9%, the second best performance in a CAC 40 that was up 1.1%.

Jefferies initiated buy coverage as part of a study on the 2022 outlook for the software sector, within which it said it favoured Darktrace and SAP shares.

In short it believes that we in the midst of a digital transformation investment cycle that shows no signs of running out of steam.
