Capgemini: Elliott still wants over 14 euros for Altran

(CercleFinance.com) - Elliott Advisors is adamant about the Altran Technologies case: the US activist fund still believes that Capgemini's proposed takeover bid of 14 euros per share Is "too low" and does not reflect Altran's intrinsic fair value, nor an adequate premium for control, it says in a statement.


This is particularly so, given the value creation that would arise out of the proposed combination.

Moreover, Elliott still highlights what it considers to be conflicts of interest in the way in which the offer has been conducted.

In short, " Elliott believes the Offer price for Altran shareholders is too low," the fund repeats.
