Capgemini: signs a contract with la Marine Nationale.

(CercleFinance.com) - Capgemini has announced the implementation, with Saphymo, a manufacturer of radiological detection tags, of the new nuclear surveillance system for the French Navy.


The 2SNM project has been completed in two phases: the first, called "2SNM MSU" (for "ultimate rescue means") concerns the purchase of detection beacons and a system for the centralisation of data so as to compensate for a possible failure of the system that has been in place since the 1990s. This contract was won by Saphymo, accompanied by Capgemini, for the implementation of the centralisation system.

The second phase involves the design, deployment, and operational implementation of the new system.
