Saint-Gobain: completes acquisition of Kaycan

(CercleFinance.com) - On 29 July, Saint-Gobain announced that it had completed the acquisition of Kaycan, a manufacturer and distributor of exterior building materials in Canada and the US.


Thanks to this acquisition, Saint-Gobain becomes a major player in façade cladding in Canada and expands its vinyl cladding offer in the US, with complementary solutions based on aluminium and processed wood.

As previously announced, the sale of Kaycan's small US distribution business is to be completed in Q3 2022. A multiple of approximately 8x EBITDA after synergies and this divestiture has been confirmed.
