Saint-Gobain: sets up internal carbon fund

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has announced the launch of an internal carbon fund to " To engage all its employees on the road to carbon neutrality by 2050, and to contribute to the Group's 2030 CO2 emissions reduction target".


Initially set up in a pilot region, Northern Europe, this fund aims to accelerate the reduction of non-industrial CO2 emissions through the daily actions of employees and targeted investments on sites.

The areas covered by these investments are mainly related to sustainable employee mobility, renewable energy, while improving comfort and energy efficiency at the building materials group's sites.
