Saint-Gobain: maintained on CDP's 'Climate Change A List'

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has said that once again this year it features on the "Climate Change A List" established by CDP, a global non-profit organisation that identifies companies involved in the fight against climate change.


The building materials group explains that it has been rewarded for its actions aimed at reducing its greenhouse gas emissions over the past year, mitigating climate risks and developing a low-CO2 economy.

For example, Saint-Gobain has installed turbines in India and Italy to generate electricity from previously lost energy. At the end of 2018, it had reduced its CO2 emissions by 12% compared to 2010.
