Saint-Gobain: finalises divestment of business

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has announced the finalisation of the disposal of its silicon carbide grains and powders to the OpenGate venture capital fund.


This business has annual sales of around 120 million euros.

Management said that this deal is part of the group's strategy to optimise its portfolio, with Saint-Gobain aiming to make disposals representing sales of over 3 billion euros by the end of 2019.
