Saint-Gobain: tender offer for HGI minority shareholders

(CercleFinance.com) - Hankuk Glass Industries (HGI), a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain in South Korea, has launched a takeover bid on the share of its capital (23%) held by its minority shareholders.


This offer will now enable Saint-Gobain, jointly with HGI, to hold 96.8% of HGI's capital and consider its delisting.

"HGI holds a leading position in South Korea and in Asia in glass products and insulation for the construction and automotive markets. It achieved consolidated sales of around 270 million euros in 2017," the company said.
