Saint-Gobain: buys a division of Hunter Douglas

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has announced that it has signed an agreement for the acquisition of Hunter Douglas' North American ceilings business, which has two production sites and which generated sales of 36 million dollars in 2017.


This acquisition will enable Saint-Gobain to acquire a complete range of innovative aluminum, steel, felt and textile ceilings for commercial real estate projects of all types, the French group said.

Subject to approval from the competent authorities, the transaction - the financial terms of which are not specified by the building materials supplier - should be finalised this July.
