Saint-Gobain: acquisition finalised in UK.

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Scotframe in the UK, increasing the group's portfolio in building distribution in the country and accelerating its development in the prefabrication and construction kit market.


Scotframe operates from two production sites and four sales outlets/showrooms in Scotland. It reported sales of 30 million pounds over its last fiscal year and has over 160 employees.

The company manufactures and supplies complete wooden frame kits, which are widely used for houses in Scotland and England. They are intended for small and medium-sized building companies, property developers and self-builders in the UK.
