Saint-Gobain: acquisition of Megaflex in Argentina.

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has announced the acquisition of Megaflex S.
A. in Argentina. This company will join Saint-Gobain's mortars business (building products).

Megaflex, which is the leader in sealing applications in Argentina, is mainly involved in the membranes and asphalt paintings. The company reported total sales of 568 million ARS in 2016 (approximately 35 million euros).

"This acquisition fits into the group's strategy of increasing its presence in emerging countries and reinforces its portfolio in the mortars business in Argentina, where Weber is already the market leader" the group said.
