Saint-Gobain: acquisition in Germany.

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the capital of the German company Biolink, a manufacturer of specialty adhesive tapes that is based in Waakirchen, 45 km from Munich.


This company develops and produces eco-responsible, solvent-free, acrylic-based adhesive tapes for a number of applications in the aeronautics, automotive and other industrial markets, mainly in Europe.

“After taking over H-Old in Italy at the end of 2016, this Biolink acquisition will accelerate the growth of Saint-Gobain's performance plastics business in the fast growing adhesives market” the building materials group said.
