Plastic Omnium: sets targets for 2019-22

(CercleFinance.com) - At its CMD, Plastic Omnium has said that over the period 2019-22, it is adopting a "conservative" assumption that global automobile production will fall by 2% in 2020 compared to 2019, and will then be flat in 2021-22.


However, the equipment manufacturer believes that it will outperform global automotive production by around five points per year, posting a continuous rise in operating profit and EBITDA in terms of value, and will generate free cash flow of over 200 million euros per year.

For 2019, the group expects to outperform global automotive production by over five points, while reporting an operating margin of around 6%, EBITDA of around one billion euros and record free cash flow of around 300 million euros.
