Plastic Omnium: earnings up one third.

(CercleFinance.com) - Plastic Omnium reported a 35.
4% increase in net income group share to 210.3 million euros, with operating profit that is up 21.5% at 325.0 million euros, meaning an operating margin of 9.4% for the first half of 2017.

Economic sales amounted to 4,062.2 million euros, up 27.8% and up 12.3% like-for-like. Excluding joint ventures, growth reached 29.9% and 11.3% respectively.

Over FY 2017, automobile production is expected to increase by 1.5% to 2%. On this basis, Plastic Omnium expects to see strong revenue growth to 8 billion euros, in addition to strong earnings growth.
