Veolia: completes sale of several assets

(CercleFinance.com) - Veolia announces the completion of the sale of assets agreed with the European Commission pursuant to its merger with Suez.


The assets sold have a total enterprise value of approximately 920 million euros and will contribute to debt reduction, while supporting the group's development.

The disposals include the sale of a portion of the hazardous waste assets in France to Suez, the sale of mobile water treatment services in Europe to Saur and the sale of industrial water treatment services in France to Séché Environnement.

Upon completion of these transactions, Veolia will remain a major player in the segments concerned (hazardous waste, industrial water, mobile units).
